online yoga classes

Welcome to my page for online yoga classes via Zoom. During these crazy times, it’s become even more vital to take some time out and away from daily stressors for the sake of your body, mind & spirit.

I offer gentle Breathwork, Energy Medicine, Vinyasa/Hatha Flow & Yin Yoga classes, designed to ease stress and anxiety, aches and pains whilst increasing your flexibility, energy levels and boosting your immune system. Classes are completely suitable for beginners and more mature students. All instructions are clear and precise, so you don’t have to spend lots of time looking at the screen, whilst modifications are offered to suit all abilities. Although I have a plan for each class, I teach intuitively to your needs on a particular day.

at the latest 30 mins before classes (preferably the day before if you want to join the drop in classes, or it’s your first time)

You’ll receive a link via email approx 15 mins before class. Just click the link and make sure you have Zoom downloaded on to your device. You may need to add the password, but most likely just clicking on the link will suffice. More info on Zoom here.

If you’re with me on a regular basis or booked a package, I’ll automatically email you the link that morning.

Classes will start promptly, so please give yourself a little time beforehand to set out your mat and collect any props. I will be available and online at least 10 mins before and afterwards for any questions or a quick chat 🙂

You’re welcome to join me for single drop in (online) classes, or choose to make that commitment to keeping your body, mind and spirit in tip top condition by choosing a package:

Drop in classes – £7 per session

4 Class Online Pass – £25

Private 1:to:1 class per hour –  £25

If you find yourself in a challenging financial situation, please let me know via email and we’ll sort something out. I really don’t want to deny access to my classes for anyone who really needs it.

Sessions are recorded and replays will be available for approximately 4 days afterwards if you can’t make the live class or in case of technical problems. Rest assured at this end, we have  invested in the best technical equipment to keep the classes up and running (even running one session on solar power) to deliver you the best quality experience we can.

Or alternatively, you can do a bank transfer to our UK bank (Please email me for the details) 

  •  Just yourself wearing comfortable clothing so you can bend and stretch with ease
  • Yoga mat
  • Props such as a couple of cushions, pillows or yoga blocks or bolster especially if we’re doing any Yin poses.
  • Scarf, belt or similar for the occasional posture
  • During the cooler weather, you may want some warm socks and a blanket/cover for when we do relaxation at the end of class

Please note that the props can be anything you have lying around the house and are to make you more comfortable in your postures

Currently I’m offering 2 early morning ‘Wake-up’ classes per week and a Sunday afternoon.  If these times don’t suit, please let me know your suggestions and I’ll do my best from this end :

Twice a month at the time of the Full and New Moon I run Guided Meditation & Sound Baths.

Tuesday 7-8am UK/8-9am CET/9-10am BG  Gentle Flow Yoga and Breathwork

Synchronizing breath with asana (postures), leaving you feeling looser, grounded, deeply nourished and inspired. Includes Qigong/energy work and maybe a little Yin.

Friday 7-8amUK/8-9am CET/9-10am BG  Yin Yoga or Yin/Yang

A wonderful, deeply nourishing practice to release stress and relax your mind. In Yin yoga all postures are seated or lying down and we are working with the connective tissue instead of muscles. Flowing movements are incorporated in between postures. This practice cultivates acceptance and learning to get behind the stories in our head.

Sunday 1-2pm UK/2-3 CET/3-4 BG Yin/Yang Yoga

This class may include any of the components above.

Private Yoga session 1:1 Dive deeper and personalize your practice with a one-on-one private sessions that will address your special needs and desires.

 

Yes, especially if you’re unsure of something. There is always time before or after class to ask questions or share experiences. We all learn from each other and it’s lovely to have our little regular community to connect with!

Please don’t worry about this. I’ll always offer alternatives – there is no need to feel you’re struggling. It’s important to me, as your teacher that you don’t feel under any pressure. During Yoga, we should NEVER be competitive with others or ourselves.

You can also take a rest at any time or come out of any posture early.

It is very important to listen to your body, my instructions and not overdo things in order to prevent injury.

The objective is to feel the stretch, but not to the point of real discomfort or pain!

During this special hour you’re taking time out for yourself – for your body, mind and spirit.

You should make sure that your phone is off and that you’re in a place where you’re not going to be disturbed, so you can zone out.

During our Zoom classes, ideally your microphone and camera should be on so I can see and hear you, but be aware everyone in the group can as well.

Therefore we will try to keep any outside noises to a minimum, so everyone enjoys some peaceful time out 😉

As long as your doctor is OK with you practicing Yoga, you should be fine.
