Our gorgeous Goa retreat provides you with a Covid safe and nurturing environment to enable permanent positive life changes, whilst giving you the time for new experiences, adventures and friendships. This unique opportunity gives the perfect balance of relaxation and activity, time to yourself versus group fun. Our itinerary has been designed to give a good balance of deep internal work for mind, body, and spirit along with glimpses into authentic Goan life. Imagine combining this with lots of light-hearted down-to-earth fun and laughter with like minded souls. In addition, there will be quiet times for stillness, meditation and journaling, to explore, enhance and evaluate your inner experience.
Yoga classes
Yoga, Breathwork and Meditation are an essential part of our program, however we’ll also use other powerful healing modalities where needed. Each yoga session will be different as we journey through the week, but set around the yin yang philosophies. Combining Indian yogic principles with Traditional Chinese Medicine, to bring balance into your life and release emotional baggage.
Yin/Yang yoga is a practice that balances the slow-paced Yin yoga with the traditional Yang yoga (Vinyasa and Hatha). Yin/Yang yoga has its roots in China in the Taoist concepts of yin – a feminine, passive, cooling energy and yang – a masculine, dynamic, warming energy. The Yin/Yang yoga practice uses both types of yoga to provide both physical and spiritual balance.
Yin
In Yin yoga, the floor-based poses are held for a longer period of time, typically three to five minutes or longer to target the connective tissues and fascia, rather than focus on the muscles. This increases flexibility while working on the meridians (energy channels) of the body. In conclusion, the practice allows for deep relaxation and meditation.
Yang
A Yang practice consists of dynamic movements, flows and standing poses. For example, Hatha yoga asanas combine with vinyasa flows that warm the body, stretch and strengthen the muscles and stimulate and balance the chakras. All this happens whilst connecting to and slowing down the breath.
To sum up, by combining yin and yang yoga, energy and fitness is improved, whilst promoting relaxation and deep healing. Practicing in such a stunning roof top location, surrounded by swaying palm trees and the gentle sound of the sea – you’ll feel like you’re in heaven 🙂

Your Yoga Practice

A Yin and Yang yoga practice combine beautifully to provide physical, emotional and spiritual balance. Consequently, energy and fitness is improved, whilst promoting relaxation and deep healing.
Yang practices offer dynamic movements and flows with standing poses. Hatha yoga asanas and vinyasas warm the body, stretch and strengthen the muscles and stimulate and balance the chakras.
Yin is slower paced and offers mainly floor-based poses which are typically held for three to five minutes in order to target the connective tissues and fascia. This increases flexibility while working on the meridians (energy channels) of the body. The practice allows for deep relaxation and meditation.

Organic cuisine
Our buffet brunches and three of the dinners included, take place at ‘Chia Lounge’ located on the beach of Mandrem, overlooking the Arabian Sea. Chia Lounge prides itself on using fresh locally produced goods wherever possible. In short, their aim is to complement a healthy and mindful lifestyle to support your wellness journey. If you have any other special dietary requirements, please let us know.
Your retreat includes 7 delicious and filling buffet brunches and 6 vegetarian dinners. We will have 3 evening buffet dinners at Nalanda and the remaining ones at some of the best restaurants in the area. Subsequently, this enables you to explore the area and give the option to dine and sample the delicious food in various beach bars & restaurants in the area.
